Learns through tinkering, whether in fermentation or fonts

Jacob brings devotion to the details, whether he’s working on an illegal goat farm in Hawaii, fermenting vinegars, developing a new illustration approach, or laying out a magazine. With expertise in branding, typography and packaging design, he loves making beautiful products and solving problems for clients. As a self-professed type nerd, he has designed two typefaces and loves talking up his favorite type foundries. When he isn’t hard at work in the studio, Jacob can be found hiking, canoeing, making cocktails, or cooking up something delicious in downtown Charlottesville.
